Mandy is a Resident Assistant and has been here at Windsor Manor for five years. She was born in Iowa City, raised in Grinnell, and has spent her life in small towns around the Grinnell area. She currently lives in Malcom. Mandy has one younger brother and an older sister who passed away a couple years ago. She has been with her boyfriend, George, for 7 years. He has a 14-year-old son named Sully. Together they have two cats, Monkey and Tank, and a dog named Harley. What bro...ught Mandy to Windsor Manor was she wanted to be able to help people, care for them, and share her heart with others. What she loves about working here the most is listening to stories the residents tell. She loves that some of them knew her family, great grandparents, and grandparents. She likes to reminisce with them. Mandy defines success as, Always working to reach your goals. Never look back, always ahead. Something that might surprise you about Mandy is she owns three motorcycles: two Harleys and a Victory Vegas. Mandy’s favorite quote is Rise above the storm and you will find the sunshine. Three things that describe Mandy is: always smiling, artistic, and easy going. Mandy’s current interests are wire wrapping rocks and gems for jewelry. Collecting rocks and crystals. She enjoys traveling on motorcycles to see the worlds hidden beauty. Mandy loves being outside to enjoy Earth’s beauty in general.
