This position performs functions of Regional Family Health (RFH) billing of accounts receivable payments for the Business Services Department as well as duties including; telephonic and online support of insurance pre-authorizations for diagnostics, surgeries, medications and specialty referrals. Qualifications: - High School graduate required, Associates Degree in business field preferred - Previous accounting experience and/or education preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology preferred - Proficiency with computer systems, diagnosis coding and multi-line phone systems preferred - Previous experience in a medical office preferred - Strong communication skills - Ability to work as a team member - Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures - Skilled in computer use and decision-making
