Prairie Hill Elementary School

Happy Earth Day! We celebrated by having a STEAM day where we learned about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. We zoomed with meteorologist Kaj O’Mara, designed and flew paper airplanes, cleaned up our school, learned about the Prairie High School Electric Car Program, and did lots of other fun Earth Day activities on this beautiful day.

We love to celebrate our 4th graders with a Clap Out on the last day of school each year. Our 4th graders begin their walk by returning to the orange pod, move on to the green pod, and then visit the purple pod one last time as a 4th grader before they head outside to become rising 5th graders. It's a tradition that we love! Best wishes to our 4th graders. We will miss you!

One of our lovely paras, Miss Ashley, made these chalk drawings to greet our students as they got off of the bus on the last day of school. Have a wonderful summer!

Do any of these items look familiar? We would love for these things to go home with their rightful owners before the end of the school year. Once the school year is over they will be donated.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and our teachers are feeling the love! Thank you to the parents and our office staff who took the time to make our school more colorful and our teachers’ smiles more cheerful this week. (Doors, part 2!)
