We had a special Birthday Boy in today. Ivan Hrubes was gifted a sightseeing ride by his Grandma and he thoroughly enjoyed every single second!! His mom Kelsey Hrubes, his sister and baby brother were also able to enjoy with him!! What an amazing gift for him! Thanks for making it happen with your busy schedule Brodie Rethamel! It meant a lot to them!!

Did you know that Charles City Aeronautics (NIAS / CIAS) has been home to 3 Charles Taylor Master Mechanics? Lyle Kyle, our founder and president; Ben Cordes; and our current owner and President Bill Kyle. We are blessed to have had these men as part of our rich aviation tradition. Today on Aviation Maintenance Technician Day and always we thank our amazing A & P Mechanics and our Aviation Technicians William Kyle, Mark Bonzer, Rick Baxter, Dan Duerre, Roman Petrich and Nicholas Turpen. Thanks you for all of your hard work!!

We had a special visitor today! He was just passing through and stopped to grab some fuel. He used to work here and learned to fly here! Check out where he is now!! Lucas Oil Air Shows, Michael Wiskus. Pretty cool to see his plane!!
