Calling all Muscatine County rural school and church attendees.... We need photos, information and stories about your family's experiences for the Muscatine County Certified Local Government grant. The Historic Preservation Commission is researching the rural schools and churches with the help of a consultant. ... Send us those home photo or a video clip with names, years, the location and anything else that would be interesting to the future generations. Be sure to identify the time, place, and any other data that will help document the information. Do you have a photos of weddings, baptisms, first communions, parish reunions or centennials? How about community meetings, school graduations, year end picnics, and other gathering that took place in the school houses or churches? Tell your story and how you are connected to the school or church. Send your information to Jane Daufeldt or Lynn Pruitt.
