As we close this chapter on MDC and NCC for 2020, we at Midwest Dairy Congress would like to extend our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to ALL of the exhibitors and participants. It was a hectic and chaotic week, however, you all helped to make things go over smoothly and without issue. We’d like to again thank ALL the sponsors and supporters for their trust in MDC to provide a quality show for those that were missing. Your desire to also see a show happen was the first... and second gear in this engine. A HUGE thank you to the organizers and staff for making this happen when no one else wanted to. As well as for stepping in when needed. To the clerks, announcers, ringmen, personnel, judges, photographers, board members, and more you are our saving grace. We are blessed to have an industry that everyone pitches in in times of need. An industry that, while may be shrinking, is also strong in it’s resolve. And most importantly we do it for the youth, who still love their cows. As witnessed on Friday night and Saturday, we have some incredible kids in this industry. Ones that put forth more work and longer days than many adults. We hope that 2021 will bring another great dairy show in Waterloo. Perhaps no longer MDC, a return to NCC. However it may happen we will pledge to push forward and we hope that you all will join us, maybe even bring a friend or two with. Thank you again to EVERYONE! -Midwest Dairy Congress

And just like that 7 days later the last of the exhibitors are headed out. That means this is a wrap for the 2020 Midwest Dairy Congress. Just would like to thank everyone for coming out and helping to make this show what it was. Was completely blown away by the quality of animals that were on display. Special thanks to Rhonda for making this thing happen. Also thank you to all the behind the scenes people that helped pull it off. And to the national cattle congress for allowing us to use their grounds. If you see or know anyone on the fairboard, please tell them thank you, without them this never would have happened.
