I read a review recently where someone called a local service (not my company) a rip-off because the markup was 500% (it wasn’t actually they were only look...ing at the part cost) Stop calling companies or products a ripoff unless they lied to you or misrepresented something. You are not entitled to goods or services at the price of your choosing. If you don’t like the price of something may I suggest... 1. Don’t buy it 2. Find it Cheaper 3. Do it or make it yourself There is no fair markup or fair price there is no such price as reasonable There is the price... you get to choose if you want to pay it or not. Do you know what the markup is on a glass of soda? A mixed drink at a hotel bar? A steak at a nice restaurant? A gallon of gasoline? A KW of energy? A bag of Lay’s chips No you don’t... and you don’t hassle those companies about their markup or their business expenses or the fact that that they know your aunt Ethel. You don’t tell them you could get that steak cheaper on Amazon or at EBay . You hassle the small local company trying to make a living and employing people in your community. The ones who stay up late doing their books and trying to make ends meet. The ones that STATISTICALLY go out of business because they don’t charge enough. It’s not a ripoff, the markup isn’t too high, you don’t need a price breakdown. Either buy or don’t buy that is your choice. and please.... Just be nice to people trying to make a living.
