Migratory Bird Day events are May 8th from 12 PM to 3 PM at Thomas Park. We will be there to read bird stories at 2:30 for all ages. The overall event is hosted by Marion Parks and Recreation. Join the Marion Parks and Recreation, Friends of the Marion Parks and Iowa BIG to celebrate all things birds! We welcome you to an Outdoor Storytime that celebrates our Asian American Pacific Islander community on May 13th at 10 AM at Gill Park! Events are designed with the guidance from the City of Marion, Linn County Public Health, and The Center for Disease Control. The Linn County mask mandate is currently in effect for ages 2 and up and, at this time, includes those who have received vaccines. Please see our website for more information.
