Let’s talk about extension METHODS. Not every method is suitable for every guest. Part of our consultation is examining your hair, talking about your lifestyle,... looking at photos of your hair goals, and how you like to wear it. 1 Volume Weft: Our most popular by far. These extensions give maximum coverage and the maintenance required every 6-8 weeks is fairly minimum. These may be for you if you want just one row for volume or even 3 rows for volume and length. Easy to wash and brush and wear in a low pony. 2 K-tips: Our most lightweight method. There is no salon maintenance required for these! You will wear them for 3-6 months and come back only when it is time to remove. With this method, you cannot reuse the hair. The best part of these is how close you can get them to your hairline and part. These may be for you if you want full mobility to wear your hair in a high pony, you have ultra fine hair, and you want no salon maintenance. 3 I-tips: this method is very similar to k-tips. I-tips are also very lightweight. They are secured with a bead instead of bonded onto the hair and the hair can be reused for up to a year! You will need be have move ups with this method every 6-8 weeks. Since this method also offers full mobility you can easily wear your hair in a high or low pony with ease. These may be for you if you want fullness and length and don’t mind maintenance appointments at the salon in order to keep the same hair for awhile. 4 Tape In: Tape ins have been a popular method for a long time. They are always an option, but as extensions as evolved we only prefer to use this method in certain circumstances! We love them for filler areas such as around the face, adding a little bit of fullness, etc. They require a little bit more time in the salon and are recommended to be removed and reinstalled every 6-8 weeks. There may be for you if you are growing out a short cut and want fullness in certain areas, and don’t mind coming in often for move ups. 5 Clip ins and Halos: These two methods are temporary. They can add fullness and length and can be worn whenever you prefer. We love this option for someone who isn’t ready to pull the plug on wearing any of the other methods but still want to give extensions a try! We offer color matching to help find the best option for each guest.
