Grimes Storehouse Food Pantry

A big Storehouse shout-out to families in the Chesterfield Heights neighborhood in Johnston! They recently gathered up these donations and delivered them last week, which really helped stock our supply of diapers! Along with non-perishable and fresh foods, the Grimes Storehouse also provides personal items such as laundry soap, shampoo and body wash, toilet paper, and diapers. And thanks to the folks in the Chesterfield Heights neighborhood, we’ve got a better supply on hand to keep our clients’ little ones covered! THANK YOU!

Get your Girl Scout cookie fix and help support the Grimes Storehouse tomorrow! The Grimes Girl Scouts will have a cookie booth at Charter Bank from 10am - 2pm. Pick up some cookies and feed the piggy bank with donations for the Storehouse!

God continues to pour out his blessings on the Grimes Storehouse! Our friends at Lutheran Church of Hope Grimes recently held a Souper Bowl Food Drive gathering over 2,200 pounds of food and supplies to be donated to the Grimes Storehouse! We often talk about Malachi 3:10 being the scripture that inspired the Storehouse food pantry expansion, and examples like this are living proof! THANK YOU to everyone who participated in the Souper Bowl Food Drive!

The Grimes Storehouse Board of Directors recently gathered to Step Into the Dream while planning our strategy for serving the community now and into the future. It was an outstanding day to gather face-to-six-feet-away-face for the first time in a year, reflect on how we’ve been able to be there for families in Grimes during a year of unprecedented challenges, and look forward to continue developing our mission to be a community food pantry that feeds the whole person.
