Update... first cutting of new seeding done then started round two ... filled and capped the big silo and baled 15 loads of hay. #hayseason

Harvest at the home farm is done...fine tuning the combine before heading to Hartmann Farm tomorrow. Brad is currently 30 days post back surgery and able to walk out to the shop to "supervise". #harvest2020

Making the most of a rainy day... haltered show heifers for the first time this year. #cantwaitforfair

Finished our hay crop for the year. Thank you to everyone who helped out. First time wrapping big squares to make baleage. #goodjobdone

All things considered, we weathered the storm fairly well... we had crop damage, building damage, and tree damage, but we never lost power. Our thoughts and prayers are with those whose devastation is greater and are still waiting for power to be restored. We'll pick up the pieces and #farmon.
