Big check donation! Steve Crittenden and Randy Huewe with First National Bank delivered a check for $2,500 to Creston Area Food Pantry today. This money from FNBC and Greg Driskell with Raymond James Financial will go toward a new 20'x50' addition the food pantry is building this summer that will include an unloading platform, increased cold storage and more efficient workspace.... The food pantry is holding an official groundbreaking at their location (417 Wyoming Ave. in Creston) at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 23. Hand-written letter! This month, First National Bank is delivering pizzas for lunch to our city and county road crews in Creston, Afton and Shenandoah as a thank you for their countless hours pushing snow this past winter. In doing so, we recently received this letter from Shenandoah Mayor Dick Hunt thanking us for the gesture. Still nothing better than a hand-written letter in our opinion!...
