Not going to be able to view the Call Service for Concordia Theological Seminary on April 27th when Caleb Stoever receives his call? Here is another service for Concordia Seminary in St. Louis where you can join in on all of the excitement that comes this time of year when Candidates are receiving their calls to serve all over the United States and all over the globe! This one will be on April 28th at 7 PM. There is also a service for Vicarages and Internships that can be observed at 3PM. Please pray for these workers who are heading out into the harvest fields and pray that the Lord would send even more!

With our Confirmation reception following the service this Sunday during our adult Bible class we don’t want to leave you without an opportunity to grow in the Scriptures, so here is an interesting video that might give you a little more insight into this Sunday’s Gospel reading from John 15:1-8 about Jesus being the true vine and we the branches.

Some of our members, especially the women of the LWML (which at First Lutheran has always included all the women of the congregation), might be interested in watching this service to see where Caleb Stoever (the seminary student we're supporting) and his family will be called to serve upon successful completion of his course work at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
