For this season, 86 Clubs in six countries are seeded into eleven SUPER 8 DIVISIONS Divisions based on their current Club Power Ranking which is reported on the All-Time Database Leader Board located here: https://tabsoft.co/2OvAky3 Clubs with the highest Power Rankings are in Division I, while Clubs with the lowest Power Ranking, as well as new Clubs, are in Division XI. NOTE: a Club's Power Ranking is based on its best 3 season finishes over the last 5 seasons (so every Club gets 2 mulligan seasons for the trailing 5). We then add the number of other Clubs a Club bested in those best 3 seasons, and divide by 3, yielding a CLUB POWER SCORE. At the end of the season, the Division winners will be based on the Week 5 Final SUPER 8 Club Rankings.

DAVISON TAKES CANIS MAGNUS COMMAND ST. LOUIS GRABS SUPER 8 WEEK 2 LEAD TAR HEELS HANG TIGHT IN 3RD Landing 25 Teams in the top 40% Canis Magnus Club point scori...ng zone, Davison, Michigan takes the lead by unseating last season’s wire-to-wire champ St. Louis in Week 2 the 90:/5 March 2021 Season of the K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch Worldwide League. While they’re looking up for the first time in two season in the Canis Magnus ranking, the St. Louis Club took hold of 1st Place in the Overall SUPER 8 Club Rankings, where just the top 8 Teams of each Club score SUPER 8 points. Chapel Hill dropped into 3rd and Ajusco, Mexico stayed steady in 4th, but both are tight on the heels of St. Louis with three weeks left to play in the five-week-long 90:/5 March 2021 Season. No Club has a lock on the top spots as we begin Week 3 tomorrow. Brightside Dacula is trending upward with a move into 5th as is Phoenix, Arizona who climbed into 6th. Akron, Ohio took a slide, dipping into 7th, just ahead of charging 8th place Cholula, to become the 2nd Mexican Club in the Top 10. Tempe, another Arizona top 10 Club, hangs onto 9th, while Knoxville leaped five spots up the Canis Magnus Leader board to round out the Top 10 of 86 active 90:/5 March Season Clubs playing in 7 countries around the globe. COMPLETE WEEK 2 SCORES & STANDINGS The Complete Week 2 March 90:/5 Team Scores (with tabs sorted by Overall, by Division, and within Clubs) and Club Standings are located here: https://bit.ly/3rJcMoi CANIS MAGNUS TOP 40% Canis Magnus Club points are reallocated every week to the Teams whose Total Score lands them in the top 40% of all other A Teams in the League. An A Team is a handler’s top scoring Team based on cumulative week-to-week cumulative Total Points. If a Handler runs two dogs, the lower scoring dog would be designated their B Team. Because only one Team per handler is eligible to score Club Points, only the A Teams are allocated points. In Week 2 of this Season, a Team needed 49 Total Points to land in the top 40% Canis Magnus Club Points Zone. That equates to a weekly raw score (without handicap) average of: 24.5 points per week for Expert Teams 19.5 points per week for Master Teams 14.5 points per week for Handler & Junior Teams The top 40% threshold is tracking almost 5 points higher in this 90:/5 format season than in a typical 60:/all season. Remember, to earn the Canis Magnus version of this season commemorative patch your A Team needs to finish the season in the top 40%. Fall 2020 season was the first season of the :90/5 format and was the first season where teams could earn the Super 8 pins. What is Super 8? The Super 8 are the top 8 scoring teams in a given season for the club. In the past, club points were only earned by the teams in a season on a club that scored in the top 40% worldwide. Now club points are earned both by the teams that score in the top 40% in a season and by the top 8 teams in a club. More chances to earn club points! W...hat happens with club points? Well, those club points are added together to produce our club standing worldwide and within our Division. Divisions are based on the club's best three overall season's out of the last five played. Now, even though it's a little late - ok it's 6 months late, it's time to congratulate the teams who earned club points (either by being in the Top 40% worldwide and/or by being in the Top 8 in our club) for the Eastern Iowa Frisbeeasts during the Fall 2020 :90/5 season. Luke Montgomery and Fission Jayne McQuillen and Wire Emily Helin and Sweep Steve Branin and Wire Jessica Betts and Wall-E Adam Brandt and Streak Jennifer Berger McAllister and Zoey Peggy Schilling and Gracie The wonderful thing about this club though is that it's not just the top teams that matter. Every dog on the team has a story and every dog plays with so much heart. It's all about having fun with the dog in front of you and making memories. Go Frisbeeasts!
