Due to the snow storm coming in tomorrow on January 25th we are going to close the office for the safety of our patients and team. We will plan on re-opening Tuesday January 26th as weather permits. We hope everyone out there stays warm and safe!

Unfortunately due to recent changes in the COVID-19 pandemic we will need to extend our closure from May 1st to May 15th. We will still be seeing emergency patients at this time. DCD&O is Happy to announce we have officially reopened today! We are excited to get back to helping our patients and making a difference in the community. In our efforts to do so, and with the current situation with COVID-19 we are making a few changes that we ask our patients to follow to help protect their health, our teams health, and the communities health. We will be following the mandates as expressed by the Iowa Dental board based off of current CDC, ADA, and OSHA guid...elines. This will affect how appoints go for patients in the following way: PATIENTS WILL BE ASKED SCREENING QUESTIONS BOTH BEFORE THEIR ARRIVAL AND AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR APPOINTMENT. PATIENTS WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPERTURE TAKEN UPON ARRIVAL. WE ASK ALL PATIENTS WEAR A FACE MASK/COVERING (PROVIDED BY PATIENT) WHILE IN THE OFFICE AT ALL TIMES UNLESS THEY ARE CURRENTLY BEING TREATED. WE ASK THAT ALL PATIENTS COME ALONE AS WE NEED TO PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING AND MINIMIZE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE WAITING ROOM AND OFFICE. CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE; SUCH AS MINORS, PEOPLE WHO CANNOT DRIVE DUE TO MEDICAL CONDITIONS, ETC UPON YOUR ARRIVAL TO OUR OFFICE, WE KINDLY ASK THAT YOU USE THE HAND SANITIZER WE HAVE PROVIDED. PLEASE DISINFECT YOUR HANDS PRIOR TO USING ANY PENS TO FILL OUT ANY DOCUMENTS WE MAY NEED FROM YOU. IF USING THE RESTROOM OR EXITING AND REENTERING OUR OFFICE, WE ASK THAT YOU USE THE HAND SANITIZER PROVIDED UPON RE-ENTRY. PLEASE INFORM US IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING A FEVER, COUGH, OR DIFFICULTY BREATHING. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE LIMITING SOCIAL DISTANCE, INCLUDING HANDSHAKING, AS A MEANS OF DECREASING POSSIBLE TRANSMISSION OF CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19).

As the winter storm advisory has been extended and conditions on the road are very poor, and we don't want any patients or team members to end up like the vehicles in the photo, we have decided to remain closed today for everyone's safety.
