Psalm 138:8 He is my Healer, (1 Peter 2:24) my Provider (Gen 22:14) and the One who holds me together. (Col 1:17) I am nothing without Him (John 15:5) - with Him I can do all things. Phil 4:13 He is the God of wonders. Psalm 77:14 He gives me strength. Isa 40:29 Nothing is too difficult for Him and nothing is impossible. Jer 32:17, Luke 1:37 He is an ever-present help. Psalm 46:1 He is for me. Psalm 118:6 He won't leave me and goes before me. Deut 31:8 His grace is enough for whatever I face. 2 Cor 12:9 He guides me and makes a way. Prov 3:5-6, Isa 43:16 God fights for me. Ex 14:14 Whether it is just another normal day or a day of obstacles - remember you face it with God. Nothing comes as a surprise to Him. Thank you for the prayers. On Sunday I asked for prayer - I knew either God would heal me or He would give me extra grace and give wisdom to my doctor. I am truly doing a happy dance on the inside!! Yesterday vascular biopsies were on the table. Today, instead, I am going back on prednisone. I never thought i would say that I was excited to be going back on steroids. I still need to see the eye doctor but things are looking up! (pun intended) RA doctor told me I ...am the 3rd recovering covid patient she has had with way elevated numbers. Apparently covid messes with PMR (polymyalgia rheumatica.) Thank you for the prayers. I would appreciate continued prayers for me as I go down this road of steroids again and for Pastor as he deals with me on steroids. :) My prayer all week has been "not my will but Yours be done and may You be glorified through this whole thing." How's your day going? Our state is starting to open up a bit. Some restrictions have been lifted. I heard that one of my chaplain locations has just gotten the go ahead to start bringing in entertainment starting next week. This news brought about much rejoicing. My prayer for you is that God will strengthen your inner man and that His love will be firmly rooted and grounded in you. Whatever comes your way, may you be found full of the goodness of God. When situa...tions bump into you, may that goodness splash out. I choose to put aside my will and follow the plans Christ has for me. What's my will for today you might ask? To curl up on the couch with a blanket and watch predictable happy movies or read a good book. Neither of those things are bad but neither are they what God has for me to do today. So, I rely on His strength to see me through. I'm not content to just get it done but instead, to flourish! With God's help that is exactly what I will do. You can flourish also. Whatever He calls you to do, He will give you the strength to do it. Maybe you need to spend some extra time with Him today. He longs for you to be filled to overflowing with hope. (Romans 15;13) With my mask on you can't see my smile but I'm smiling! Today - may You, God, be glorified in me, in us! Gloria
