Governor Reynolds has allowed dental offices to reopen for elective procedures today if they meet the new guidelines that were recently adopted by the Iowa Dental Board. Due to the current shortage of PPE, we are continuing to only see emergency patients at this time. We are hopeful that the supply chains will increase in the near future and we will be able to resume routine dental care soon. Thank you for your understanding! We are still very interested in obtaining N95s if anyone has access. Many previously approved KN95s were removed from the approved list yesterday.

Edit: Thanks to several awesome people for helping us secure N95 masks & face shields so we can see emergency patients! We are so grateful to everyone who reached out to help us and I know the patients who are in pain appreciate it too. We will definitely be paying it forward. If you have any N95 masks, we would love to buy them from you to help us provide care for patients with dental emergencies. We can also provide you with surgical masks to use in place of the N95 masks.

We are happy to report that we have resumed preventive dental services after being closed for over 8 weeks. We are diligently working our way through the list of patients who were originally scheduled starting back in mid-March. We ask for your patience and understanding as it’s incredibly time consuming to try to rearrange so many lost days of care as well as reschedule appointments that were already on the books for the upcoming months. If you were scheduled during the cl...osure or are scheduled in the next few months and don’t mind bumping your appointment to September or October, please let us know. We know your dental care is important and we have expanded our schedule to working 6 days per week to try to get everyone back on track as soon as we possibly can. Thank you for your support of our small business! We are very grateful to have so many loyal and dependable patients.

Governor Reynolds has extended the closure of all dental offices in the state until at least May 16th. While we are disappointed that we won't be able to provide dental care until next month, our team is using this extra time for learning more about the latest in dentistry as well as the best practices for keeping everyone safe for when we are allowed to reopen. We look forward to seeing you again soon--In the meantime, keep brushing, flossing, and hand washing!
