The Worth County Treasurer's Office will be closed until further notice. All registration renewals and tax payments can be made via our drop box, by mail, or online at www.iowatreasurers.org We will be taking appointments for title transfers and driver's licenses only. Response to COVID-19: On May 26th, Governor Reynolds announced the temporary suspension of penalties and interest for delayed property tax payments until June 26, 2020. Taxes will still be marked delinquent if they are not paid by March 31, but late interest and penalty on property tax payments will NOT apply until June 26th. You may renew online at this time and your county treasurer will send your registration and validation sticker. If your motor vehicle registration exp...ired January 31, 2020 or later, you may choose to renew your registration later.
