She’s got crazy talent as an esthetician....as well as making everyone feel super comfy in her heated table bed. (I’ve personally nodded off before from the relaxation of getting my lashes done . ) Sheila offers facials, lash extensions, sugaring, microdermabrasion with a facial and many peels to... boot. You guys, her lash glue is upwards of $500 or more- my lashes always look amazing and her prices are just as competitive as girls from Cedar Rapids to Cedar Falls and she works right in Independence! Here’s some FAQ about microblading to see if it’s right for you and if you wanna RSVP to our fun night in!! 1. What is Microblading? A. Microblading is a tattooing technique using a hand tool that deposits pigment in the upper layer of the Dermis, creating natural looking hair brow strokes. Microblading is use to create a brow that blends naturally with existing hair. A very natural look 2. How long does it last? A. Depending on life style and skin type, from 18-36 months. Then a touchup is required. Microblading is a semi permanent tatoo rather then the traditional permanent tatoo. One advantage of semi-permanent tattooing is that the color can be adjusted at touchup and the thickness also. Brow styles change over time so being able to change with it, is an advantage. 3. What is the process of getting Microblading on your eyebrows? A. Make appointment B. Before pic of your natural brows C. Choose a style D. Measure and draw Brows on. This is the longest part of the process. The Golden Mean is used to get the perfect balance for your unique features. E. Tweek until we are both satisfied with the design F. Sterilize Skin G. Microblade H. Shade if design calls for it I. Perfect and clean J. Explain after care J. Book 8 week touchup session After care: A. First 24 hrs: clean with q-tip every 2 hrs B. Apply thin layer of ointment every 2 hrs C. Clean 2 times a day with q-tip and apply ointment. 4. Does it hurt? A. It is not as painful as a regular tattoo. Some say it feels like tweezing 3 Hair’s at once. B. I check with you constantly for comfort. It is not bad. 5. How much does it cost? A. $400 covers everything including the touchup session at 8 weeks. B. If shading is in your choice of design. $100 extra is charged. Annual touchups (after the initial 18-36 months) is $100.
