Here’s a little update on Judy and her adopted babies. Don’t mind the stained faces and paws! Everyone has been eating kitten food, and they’re still learning how to be clean about it...you know, sort of like when you give toddlers spaghetti! They’re technically able to go home next week, but we’re going to keep them here for a few more weeks. They had an intestinal parasite run through them, so they could use a little extra time with their adopted mom and the close ey...es of shelter staff and veterinarians. If you don’t remember their story here’s the run down - Judy lost her babies as they came prematurely, and that same week orphan kitties came in needing a milk mom. Judy instinctively took them all as her own along with another kitty that came from the same location she was rescued from. She has been a world class mama ever since (even when she felt like complete garbage from the intestinal parasites). She’s living up to her namesake! . We’re glad to report everyone is feeling much better now, and just look how stinking cute they all are!! See more

New life appeared in the shelter tonight! Welcome to the world, babies!! Everyone is doing wonderfully, and Princess Leia is a very good little mommy.
