Maass Cattle Company

Yesterday was a fun one for the Maass Ranch. Two years ago this farm was row-crop and now it’s officially home to the seed stock herd. Not sure if we’re more excited to have them home or if Joe’s more excited to have them out of his hair! Also, Emmet learned call cows so had to share the video (in the comments).

Beautiful day for weaning calves. Starting to feel like fall!

The new herdsman is already in love with cows! Not the color we shoot for around here, but we’ll let it slide for now.

*EXCITING NEWS* We made the decision to participate in the DNA Cow Herd Roundup through the Simmental Association. With the incorporation of genomics we hope to expand on the use of EPDs and performance data to help take the guess work out of the bull buying process and help you make the right choice for your operation.
