Great day last Friday learning about Agroforestry, Iowa Corn, CREP Wetlands, Conservation Planning, and all the great things Whiterock Conservancy is doing on their land. Thanks to Trees Forever, Iowa Corn Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship,and Whiterock Conservancy! Fun fact: A kame is a irregularly shaped hill or mound composed of sand and gravel that was caused by a melting glacier. Whiterock Conservancy sits on the edge of the Des Moines Lobe where kames are visible. Go visit Whiterock to learn more!

Paul Speed attended a four day river restoration training covering the new Iowa DNR River Restoration Toolbox. LT Leon is proud to have worked with Stantec and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to develop this tool and continue to advance river and stream restoration in Iowa!
