PURE JOY OVER 10K RAISED to benefit 3 local charities!! We have lots of emotions after visiting our friends at PURE Hair + Beauty Lounge today, but pure joy sums it up best. Thank you to all the incredible giving clients that donated so selflessly to make this happen. And Stacey and team... you never cease to amaze us. The amount of money raised is a true testament to all the work you do for and the love you show to our community. You not only make it beautiful on the outside but a better place to be. We are so fortunate to know you and to call you our friends. THANK YOU!!!! We can’t wait to share the JOY this will bring!

Its no secret how STRONG our kids are. They fight unimaginable battles every day, and yet, keep smiles on their faces! October 23rd, an amazing community has come together to test THEIR strength, and its all in honor of these special kids. When you purchase a red bag from the Utica Ridge Hyvee located at 4064 E 53rd St, Davenport, we automatically receive a $1 donation! If that is not your normal HyVee, you can still visit ANY HyVee location, purchase a red bag, follow the directions on the attached tag within 7 days of purchase, and you can designate us as your charity of choice! One of our most favorite Christmas memories. A few years ago, Santa sent us on a mission to bring warrior Calvin some JOY. Calvin was so surprised and so happy, and grateful! A Nintendo switch was the number one item on his list, and Santa pulled through! Calvin was a one of a kind. He was dealt such a tough hand, yet he faced it all with strength, positivity, and a warrior spirit that still inspires us in all we do today. And he always seemed to be a step ahead of us too...... even when we thought we were surprising HIM, he would pull a gift out for us, usually one of his pieces of art we cherish those gifts to this day Oh how we wish we were delivering presents to him again this Christmas. But in true Calvin form, he was the one that sent us a gift straight from heaven. In Calvins memory, his family raised money for Jordan’s Joy for Christmas. This gift is already bringing JOY to a young man, with a fighting spirit just like Calvins. We miss you little buddy, but we are celebrating Christmas in our Calvin designed sweatshirts, and thinking of your smile and that sweet slightly devilish little giggle of yours. We can’t express how grateful we are for Live Active 563 and all the athletes, volunteers, and fans that came out last Friday for the lift off We’ve got some big things in the works to help some local kiddos and we couldn’t do that without all of you!

Calvin captured our hearts the moment we met him. He was a WARRIOR with the most incredible smile, positive spirit, infectious laugh, and... he was a very talented artist! I have a couple Calvin originals I keep in a box, and still pull them out when I am feeling low. We are truly humbled to be chosen by his family to be honored in this special way.
