This is Daisy. She has just been diagnosed with the parvovirus. This can be deadly in dogs, especially puppies like Daisy who have underdeveloped immune systems. Thankfully it was caught early and with treatment she can survive. Her owner needs help to make this happen and save Daisy’s life. We have agreed to assist but need the help of our donors. Today was a very successful feral/barn cat spay and neuter day at PHCT! Did you know cats have an average of 4 to 8 kittens per litter? And, t...hey can have multiple litters of kittens each year! You can see how quickly cats can reproduce, and how just a handful of cats can turn into 30+ cats in just a few months! Snickerdoodle Bug needs our help! She desperately needs a dental cleaning and extractions for severe dental disease and also needs to have a growth removed. The cost is estimated to be $1,000. Her owner has taken very good care of her all her life but can’t afford these expenses right now. We want to help her but need your help to do so! Please share and donate if you are able. Thank you!

Please be thoughtful about and do your research before getting a new dog. All puppies are cute and irresistible but they grow up to be dogs who are sometimes challenging and the owner doesn't know how to handle them. We receive requests to help rehome dogs whose families are in over their heads with them. It's not fair to the dog. Don't impulsively get that cute puppy.
