We know people have been talking, and now it’s time for us to let the community know what’s coming! Let’s jog back almost 60 years to where Grandpa Al had a dream of a Service Station. Resting on the hill for 30+ years before deciding to make that dream an even bigger adventure and building what we know today as JET Xpress (formerly known as Rix BP/Amoco). What a journey for our family for sure! Bringing us closer together in the good times and bad. Emotions still stir w...ithin us on how to feel about these arrangements but there’s always a very fine line that defines your business & and family/personal lives. After much deliberation, as of July 1st, 2019, the Rix/JET Xpress family has signed into a purchase agreement with Casey’s General Stores. We know this may come as a shock, as it is for us too. We’ve known for some time that Casey’s has been interested in acquiring a new location in Manning. Also we’ve been approached by there marketing team many times for this reason. There’s always been a thought of a new Casey’s for the Manning residents and a thought in our mind is how will this affect our business cycle. We enjoy seeing how involved with the community Casey’s is as well as knowing they will be progressive with trends, and possibly being able to offer more to the Manning community. With that in mind and an offer we couldn’t refuse, this has made our decision to sell JET Xpress to Casey’s General Stores. The effective sale date is January 30th, 2020. Actual business closing date is yet to be determined, but estimated to close around January 15th. After store closing, we will continue to sell gas through the end of the month by credit/debit card at the pump only. Store inventory will be liquidated after our final orders this week. Kitchen inventory will be first come, first serve basis until sold out, and online ordering will be shutdown January 1st. We want to extend a final thank you to all of our loyal customers for many years of great business! Please share so we can get the word out & see all of you one last time!
