It’s #NationalAgDay! Since 1943, the students of Iowa State University have taken pride in managing the Ag 450 Farm. Each semester, the students bring a new, unique perspective coupled with a great passion for the agriculture industry. We look forward to many more successful years. #FarmStrong

The 450 Farm students recently wrapped up the safety unit in which we learned a lot about the importance of safety in the agriculture industry. Once again, thank you to the Ag Health and Safety Alliance for coming out to the farm and spreading awareness. Such a fun and interactive presentation! #Ag450Farm

Even though students are gone for the time being, the farm must go on! Because all Iowa State courses this spring have been moved to a digital format AG 450 has looked a little different for the remainder of the semester, but students are still completing the course through the following adjustments: Weekly face-to-face class meetings using video conferencing In-class discussions migrated to online discussion boards Quizzes and assignments are submitted online... Regular farm updates from Jacob Parr Committee work continues using video conferencing and group messaging apps Email, phone, and video conferencing communication with Skyer and/or Jacob as needed The AG 450 students are incredibly thankful for the efforts being made by both Skyler and Jacob to make this transition as seamless as possible. We would also love to give a quick shout out to our two student employees for their continued hard work on the AG 450 farm at this time. We can't wait to be back on the farm this fall!
