This week's #BankingInTheCommunity spotlight shines on First Security Bank & Trust Co, which sent seed packets to members of its Better Bee Saving Club last month. In addition to encouraging kids to save and helping to promote financial literacy, the bank decided to help kids welcome spring and bring attention to the nation's growing bee shortage. The pollinator-friendly wildflower seed packets were included with an issue of the club’s quarterly newsletter, just in time for spring.
