Today we had our Organic Certification inspection. Thank you Rick Hartman and Mosa. We are very excited to be part of such a exciting endeavor as being certifie...d organic. Being organic certified is a lot of work and you really need to be on top of your game. Today the inspector was really excited about how well maintained the farm was and used the term beautiful farm. We need to help with this these numbers are staggering. Unfortunately, food insecurity is an obstacle that threatens that critical foundation. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), 13.1 million children under 18 in the United States live in households where they are unable to consistently access enough nutritious food necessary for a healthy life.
