April 02, 2021 1030 Chris Estle RN, BSN **COVID-19 Vaccine Update** Per the Iowa Department of Public Health, Jefferson County Public Health will receive the on...e dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine as a one-time allocation. This is in limited supply with the focus being on our manufacturing partners. However, clinics are open to any/all individuals 18 years of age and older. Jefferson County Public Health is offering clinics 3 days next week. The vaccine has not yet arrived at our office. Anticipated arrival is Monday or Tuesday. We are moving ahead with scheduling appointments. Here is the clinic info: Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 Clinics Jefferson County Public Health 200 West Briggs-Fairfield Wednesday, April 7 from 7:30-3:00 Thursday, April 8 from 10:00 to 3:00 Friday, April 9 from 0600-Noon. Appointments are required, to ensure social distancing. Please call the office at 472-5929 to schedule. You do not need to live in Jefferson County in order to receive this vaccine. We continue to receive 300 doses of Moderna vaccine and will schedule appointments the following week. Thanks for your continued support and understanding during this on-going response.
