Exec 1 Aviation Flight School

Today has been a really good day at the airport. I got to give my buddy Dan his first flying lesson. I really love teaching a student who is motivated and wants to do this.

If you haven’t flown at night often or are uncomfortable with it give us a call and book time with one of our instructors. Night flying is a relaxing time to be up and the air is almost always smooth. The bonus to this is you get to see amazing sites that most people won’t ever see.

We had a Gulfstream IV visit today. This big beautiful plane has a 74’ wingspan, she took most of our ramp and looked awesome sitting there. I was flying with ...another pilot working on transition training from 172s to 182s when it landed, we had a great view of it landing, we were right behind it. My two line techs got to go inside and look around, I missed that opportunity because I was flying.

We had some neat planes on our busy ramp today. Here we have two very different airplanes that are from very different eras. Pictured is a Gulfstream G280 and a Piper Super Cruiser.

VFR CHARTS are now on a 56 day cycle effective 25 Feb 2021.
