In this reel from Don and Phil's 1986 Shenandoah Homecoming, the opening clip features a local journalist cruising to "Bye Bye Love" in our Founder Bill Hillman's 1965 Ford Thunderbird convertible! We have hours of footage (some we've included in exhibits) and CBS has even more footage in their archives. On March 1, 1957, The Everly Brothers recorded "Bye Bye Love" and the rest was history! Thank you Colouring The Past for bringing to life this 1968 performance of their hit song!
