God I love family sessions, especially families of 5+, there's just something about them I was so excited that Abbi (also a fabulous photographer) wanted me to do her family photos for her! Aren't they so much freaking fun?! We shot for over an hour but it felt like only 20 minutes, & we laughed SO much! Jordan + Daniel 7.18.20 Oh these beautiful humans. Where do I begin? I first met these two at another wedding I was shooting (Emily + Jake), I loved Jordan's dress she was wearing & told her to contact me about doing photos in said dress...& now here I am shooting her wedding ... Thanks to stupid COVID, plans changed though. What was to be a big celebration at Hornbaker Gardens, quickly turned into plans that Jordan & Dan did not expect...but when I tell you I think their day was still PERFECT, I mean it whole heartedly. I remember during the ceremony (just a handful of us in this beautiful church) going to the back to get a wide shot, & seeing figures outside moving. Now, the windows were all prismatic so I had to get super close to see what was going on, & a bunch of Jordan & Dan's friends & family were outside decorating for them to surprise them after J & D walked down the aisle, they opened the doors & as you can see, it was emotional & full of joy there were bubbles, signs, cheering friends, balloons, & even a happy puppy that I of course had to pet! We then headed to some bars, where this amazing duo sang Jordan & Daniel's first dance song, & they danced in front of family, friends & even complete strangers that cheered them on & gave well wishes & then at another bar, Jordan danced & cried with her sweet dad, & Daniel laughed with his momma & spun her around with more strangers & friends watching. After that, we headed over to J & D's beautiful home where more friends were waiting for them with the garage decorated (those little cards are from her students, HOW FREAKING PRECIOUS), & walking tacos were being made inside...& of course, Jordan had to get photos with her baby kitty I'm sure the party didn't stop when I left, & I bet Jordan & Daniel are still on a high after being surrounded by so much love & happiness.
