American Legion Auxiliary IA Unit #174

June 21st at 6:00 p. m. there will be a social distancing meeting at the Legion Hall. Three seniors will be presented their scholarships.

Mary Jones (43 year Auxiliary member) is pictured with her grandson and great grandson. Great grandson, Devin, was presented a check made out to Iowa State University for $1.000 tonight at our monthly meeting. Congrats Devin and Grandma Mary!!

Thank you to my Unit #174 sisters. I am so honored to be a member of this Unit. Your first endorsement started this process of being elected Department Chaplain. Love you ladies!!

Reminder: Flag Disposal will be held August 19th at 5:30 p.m. Legion wanted to start earlier because we have so many retired flags to properly dispose. I will bring refreshments for our Juniors, Boy Scouts and Legionnaires.

Floyd County meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 18th at Charles City Legion Hall at 6:00 p.m. Decisions on what to serve!!! 4th District President Helen Pinter will be in attendance.
